Rev. Henry Barnard Wingfield

Born: 14 March 1866, Islington, Middlesex, London
Died: 26th November 1953 (aged 87), Auckland, NZ

With his family he arrived in Otago in 1878 aged 12. His father started farming at Halfway Bush, Dunedin.
He was educated at Dunedin high school, training in architecture.
From 1896 he started training in the Church.

Mr Wingfield wired this morning regretting his inability to attend, which is exceedingly unfortunate, owing to the- draw, which entails a considerable amount of work, having been prepared with his inclusion. The result is that two competitors will be idle each day.
