Nelson Chess Club Knockout Tournament 1865



The Nelson CC Secretary J. Hounsell started advertising a chess tournament from 29th August. [1]

The tournament was due to be commenced on the 5th September. [2]
The competitors are to drawn in pairs, with the first to 5 wins proceeding to the next round.
The entrance fee is 5 shillings.
